Presenters
John Havercroft
John Havercroft is a School Superintendent with the York Region District School Board and currently the leader of the provincial Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat’s Southern Region Character Development Resource Team.
Sandi Della Vedova
Sandi Della Vedova is an Instructional Leader in Guidance with the Toronto District School Board. Sandi has trained staff to use Appreciative Inquiry to develop student success initiatives.
Nancy Nightingale
Nancy Nightingale is principal of A Y Jackson Secondary School in the Toronto District School Board. Introduced to Appreciative Inquiry in the TDSB’s Imagine Student Success Project, Nancy has used Appreciative Inquiry to develop and implement school improvement initiatives.
Patty Luubert
Patty Luubert is a Character Matters Contact at Cedarwood P.S. who has guided their learning community to create a school Touchstone, the foundational piece to their culture, climate, and character development.
Steve Rensink
Steve Rensink is a Character Matters Facilitator with YRDSB who provided training internationally. One current project with several schools is processing Climate Surveys to enhance a culture of character and learning in their schools.
Gunter Meyer
Gunter Meyer is a CM Facilitator with YRDSB who has been involved with the Georgina Mayor’s Character Forum for several years. This school/community project complements the character work that schools do with students and parents. |
