Experience Dr. Dixon’s innovative and practical approach to differentiating instruction, which targets those students who struggle most in the classroom. Synthesizing the latest understandings in brain science and learning, he will explain why some students struggle so much in the classroom and offer simple yet powerful tools for learning that work across the curriculum from elementary to secondary school. The best part of this approach is that it's fun for both teachers and students, bringing joyful learning to every student in the class! An Ontario educator with 28 years of experience as a teacher, administrator, writer, and researcher, Dr Dixon spent the last 3 years at the University of Toronto field-testing his strategies with some 50,000 students and teachers. He is Director of two organizations, the KEEN Differentiated Learning Group and the Literacy Through Drama Project. |
