Resolving Conflict in Schools

Join us for a lively Conversation with David Sovran as we explore with him the power of peace circles to resolve conflict in schools.

Peace circles build bridges of communication by providing the structure for conversations to take place that can engage staff and students in group decision making, consensus building and healing.

Learn some specific tools that will enable you to use peace circles in the school or classroom. Participants are asked to bring a small object that can be used as a talking piece.

David Sovran's work as a school administrator has been characterized by compassion and his belief in the dignity of youth. David's experience with Peace Circles grew from his association with Peace Builders, an international network that teaches peace building processes and skills to local leaders so they can build community values.
